A few days ago my mom and I were talking, and it came up that she had put together a fifty before fifty list. As I was reading through the list with some of my friends, I started thinking about everything that could be on my list and everything that would be so sweet to accomplish.

This morning we were kicked out of our hostel for a few hours so they could spray for bugs, and my friends and I put together our lists.

drum roll please!!!

1. see the musical Rent on Broadway

2. go volcano boarding

3. sky dive

4. go tent camping with friends

5. get my associates degree

6. start my coffee business

7. go bungee jumping

8. host a worship night at home

9. become fluent in Spanish

10. Holy Land tour in Israel

11. get a queen bed

12. visit my friends in California

13. start logo design

14. get a tattoo

15. zip line through the jungle

16. read the Bible the whole way through

17. learn how to sew

18. get my tragus (part of my ear) pierced

19. create my own blogging page

20. buy a camera & learn more about photography

I was texting this list to some of my friends because I was so excited about it, and she so beautifully reminded me of everything that isn’t on this list. I have been so wonderfully blessed in this adventurous life that I’ve lived so far. I’ve traveled near and far for missions and friends. I’ve learned how to ski and created new things for so many people. I’ve made friends around the world and sang with some crazy impressive people.

Life with Jesus is crazy. It’s uncomfortable.

But it’s so life bringing and encouraging. It’s adventurous and beautiful. & I never wanna stop chasing everything that the Lord has for me.

That’s all! just a short & fun blog that’s on my heart.

  1. Kate,
You have been blessed to see, do and learn much and it sounds like if all goes well, you have lots more planned for the future, which is great. This is an exciting time in your life and I pray that you will continue to challenge yourself to accomplish much for yourself and for God.

  2. Looks fun! I’d join you for #’s 1, 8, 10, maybe 14, maybe 16, and maybe 17!
    Love ya! Momma

  3. Such fun dreams! I did something similar at 26 and I LOVED it. It was such fun and inspiration.
